How to Design a Sponsor Banner for Your Team’s Home Field

Team & Booster Guide

A sponsor banner has one job: make the business that’s funding your program easy to recognize and easy to read. Here’s how to design one that actually does that.

Logo First, Everything Else Second

The sponsor’s logo should be the largest, most central element on the banner — not squeezed into a corner. Our sponsor banner builder lets you drop a logo file in and resize it directly, no design software needed.

Size for the Fence, Not the Screen

A design that looks great zoomed in on a laptop can look tiny and washed out on an actual fence forty yards away. As a rule of thumb, a 2′×4′ or 2′×6′ banner with large, bold text reads clearly from across a field — smaller banners are better reserved for indoor gyms or dugouts where viewers are closer.

Placement Matters as Much as Design

Hang sponsor banners where spectators — not just players — will actually see them: along the main spectator-side fence, near the concession stand, or facing the parking lot. A banner hidden behind the visitor dugout does the sponsor no favors.

Keep a Consistent Template Across Sponsors

If your program has multiple sponsors, using one consistent size and layout (same border color, same logo placement) makes the whole fence line look organized, and makes it much faster to add a new sponsor mid-season.

Order Early for the Season, or Fast When You Need To

Every sponsor banner ships free via FedEx Priority Overnight, so a new sponsor signed on right before opening day is still workable — order online before 9PM ET. Full details are on our overnight shipping page.
